Before I became a wedding filmmaker, I was an "ice cream man", or rather, a dealer of ice cream machines.

I used to deliver ice cream machines and equipment for cake shops from Italy for several years quite successfully. Unfortunately, during that time I made a few bad decisions that negatively affected my business. The major mistake was a change of supplier whose machines were extremely defective. The producer of the ice cream machines didn't claim responsibility for the poor quality of his products. Since I wanted to avoid expensive repairs and legal actions, I started purchasing machines from different producers. Of course, in that situation, I was pressed for money, and couldn't finance my business thoroughly. My company was down and out.
I had to sell our family flat to pay my debts. I had a wife and two small kids and at that point, we didn't even have enough money to buy food. Literally, I was going through true purgatory. I don't even know how I survived that, to be honest.
Making videos was my hobby for many years. I used to shoot family reunions and vacations with my hand-held camera. I made my first wedding film when one of my cousins saw my videos and asked me to shoot her wedding. The wedding video was short, approximately 3 minutes long, but dynamic and emotional, with the speech and extraordinary music. I still remember so distinctly the big fuss which that film caused,  because nobody was making videos like that back then. After that, I was overbooked for the upcoming year. The first wedding video which I made saved my life, literally.
